The establishment is only interested in maintaining the status quo. These powerful entities, media conglomerates and institutional powers are content with keeping us ignorant, afraid and divided, so we stay oblivious and not question decisions and raise concerns around issues that are adversely impacting our everyday lives.
Whether it is human rights violations or legislation, you are not supposed to cause waves, question or buck the system in any way. If you do, you can be labeled anything from a trouble-maker to unpatriotic.
Tonight's guest is former Democratic Congresswoman and Presidential candidate that used her career to challenge the status quo and raise questions that were uncomfortable and that no one else would ask. She's been called many things, but one thing you can't call her is SCARED!
